On July 31, 2025, Joseph Dodd’s journey as a young author reached Times Square!!
He was completely surprised when a 60-second ad featuring
his books played on a billboard once every hour for 24 hours.
Later that day, the surprise continued with a stock signing at
Barnes & Noble, 5th Avenue!

Meet Joseph
Joseph is Jo’s youngest son — a young author, creative thinker, and proud autistic teen with a big heart and an even bigger imagination.
He has written and published:
We All Like Different Things and That’s A-OK With Me – a joyful picture book that celebrates differences and self-acceptance
The Secret Adventures of Boomer & Rang, the Incredible Time-Traveling Twins – the first in a chapter book series about courage, friendship, and adventure
Joseph experienced several health and learning challenges at a young age. After over seven years of testing and misdiagnoses, he was recently diagnosed with autism. Jo is determined to show Joseph that his ‘differences’ are also his superpowers. Writing has become a way for him to share his ideas with the world and show that being neurodivergent is something to be proud of.
Together, Jo and Joseph are committed to making storytelling inclusive, empowering, and fun.
